

Meet the Supply Chain Management Fculty at USF

Elaine Singleton- Director
The newly named Monica Wooden Center for Supply Chain Management & Sustainability has a brand new director. Coming from Los Angeles, Elaine Singleton is here to take part in a unique educational opportunity, but more importantly to contribute to student success, the mantra of USF and more particularly the Muma College of Business.
Most recently, Singleton was the vice president of Technicolor Global Logistics in California. She also was the vice president of North America supply chain for The Walt Disney Company and held management positions with Williams-Sonoma and Target. She frequently serves as a guest speaker for industry groups on the topic of global supply chains.
Her three-decade career has encompassed end-to-end supply chain operations that have included strategic design, tactical execution and team building.

Donna Davis - Professor
Donna Davis is a professor of marketing, chair of the Marketing Department, and co-director of USF's Center for Supply Chain Management and Sustainability.
Her research has been published in leading supply chain management and marketing journals including the Journal of Business Logistics, Journal of Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, and the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. Davis is a member of the Freight Mobility, Trade and Logistics research group housed in the College of Engineering where she holds a courtesy faculty appointment.
She holds a PhD and MBA from the University of Tennessee, and a bachelor's degree in management from Maryville College.

James Stock - Professor
James Stock is Distinguished University Professor and Frank Harvey Endowed Professor of Marketing and teaches courses in marketing management, marketing strategy, logistics and supply chain management. He has received the Outstanding Professor Award from the Graduate Business Association multiple times in recognition of excellence as an educator.
An internationally-recognized expert in supply chain management, logistics, and reverse logistics/product returns, Stock has authored 150+ publications and is on the review board of several international journals, including the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, Logistics Research, European Business Review, South African Journal of Transportation and Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Value Chain Management, and Paradigm—Journal of IMT Ghaziabad. He has authored or co-authored several books, including Strategic Logistics Management, Fundamentals of Logistics Management, Development and Implementation of Reverse Logistics Programs, and Reverse Logistics. He is co-authoring two new textbooks — one in supply chain management and a second in logistics management. Stock received the 2011 CSCMP Distinguished Service Award, the 1988 Armitage Medal, and the 2003 Eccles Medal from SOLE - the International Society of Logistics – recognizing his contributions to the discipline.
He earned BS and MBA degrees from University of Miami (Florida) and a PhD from The Ohio State University. He has previously taught at the University of Notre Dame, University of Oklahoma, Air Force Institute of Technology and Michigan State University.

Robert Hooker
Robert Hooker is an assistant professor in the marketing department, teaching courses in market research, marketing strategy and supply chain management. His research examines the use of technology and innovation in marketing and supply chain management. Selected work on sustainability and open innovation has been published in journals including the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management and MIS Quarterly Executive. His article, "A Decade of SCM Literature: Past, Present, and Future Implications" in the Journal of Supply Chain Management, is one of the 10 most downloaded articles ever in that journal. Professor Hooker has taught at Florida State University, before joining the USF System in 2011. Before pursuing an academic career, he spent several years in marketing and finance. He has a PhD in Business Administration, an MBA in Marketing and Supply Chain Management, and a B.S. in Finance and Risk Management & Insurance, all from Florida State University.
